Towanda Braxton Filed For Divorce Last Month After 12 Years With Hubby Andre Carter
A Georgia judge has ordered “Braxton Family Values” star Towanda Braxton and her soon to be ex Andre Carter to stay away from each other and has forced the former couple to take parenting classes.
Toni Braxton pulled up a seat to the ‘Red Table’ and got real about getting divorced. The singer joined Jada Pinkett Smith and mom Adrienne Banfield-Jones for the latest installment of Jada’s Facebook Watch series, where the three women tackled the thorny subject of divorce.
A Gwinnett County Superior Court judge granted a mutual restraining order against the exes, and both reality stars are banned from harassing or intimidating each other or their two kids, according to Braxton’s divorce docs, which were obtained by BOSSIP.

Under the terms of the restraining order, neither Braxton nor Carter are allowed to take any property, or their two kids – Braxton and Brooke – out of Georgia, nor can they all of a sudden cancel the health or car insurance, or the family’s gas and electric utilities, now that the divorce is going forward.
The court also ruled that Carter and Braxton must also take a “parenting workshop” to help them counsel their kids as they deal with the fallout from the split.
If the pair violates the court orders, their judge could hold them in contempt.
